The Silk Exchange ( “La Lonja de la Seda” in Spanish) is one of the most outstanding example of a building in the civil Gothic style in Europe. La Lonja was built between 1482 and 1548. The architect was Pere Compte
La Lonja was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996
